Who is this Service for?
I am currently taking on paediatric (child) clients aged 1-18. In the future, I would like to expand the service to include adult clients in the community.
Speech and Language Therapy may benefit a child or young person who;
- is difficult for other people to understand
- has difficulty understanding instructions
- frequently stammers, or finds it hard to get words out
- has not started talking
- finds it hard to tell you about their day or use full sentences
- has limited vocabulary
- is self-conscious about talking
- has been recommended to attend speech therapy by an adult who knows the child (family member, teacher, public health nurse, doctor etc)
This is by no means a full list of examples. If you are concerned about your child’s communication or feel your child could benefit from Speech and Language Therapy please contact me
